Management Accounts Assistant
37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, Office based, Kettering, UK
Working with a portfolio of well-known brands you will be responsible for the preparation of timely and accurate periodic management reports including profit and loss, balance sheet, performance analysis, cashflow forecast and budget analysis.
In this role you are the interface between AFP and our client and will have strong communication skills with the ability to respond promptly to client queries ensuring that we are always providing excellent customer service, liaising with our internal Financial Accounts, Compliance and Operations Teams when needed.
Working in a multi-client environment you will potentially have conflicting deadlines which you will need to manage, ensuring that you are communicating any issues to our internal teams and clients.
Working with our Client Relationship Managers to provide support for the development of budgets and forecasts as appropriate to ensure good quality and up-to-date information is available to clients.
A good understanding of accounting processes and the ability to read and interpret profit and loss and balance sheet reports are essential.
Requirements
AAT qualified, studying for ACCA, CIMA or QBE
Have worked with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage
Have experience using MS Excel in a finance role

Financial Accounts Assistant
37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, Office based, Kettering, UK
You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage your workload in a multiclient environment with potentially conflicting deadlines. We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for customer service excellence and questioning the status quo.
You will have relevant experience in a similar role covering most of the same transactional areas with good literacy and numeracy skills (equivalent to GCSE 5+in English and Maths), experience and working knowledge in basic use of MS Office Excel, along with AAT, CIMA or ACCA trainee or qualified by experience. You will have worked with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage and have experience using MS Excel in a finance role.
